The results of three independent polls by CNN, Associated Press-NORC and Quinnipiac University show that the approval rating of Donald Trump, the U.S. president, has fallen to 34, 33 and 32 percent; a level described as the lowest since the end of his first term in office and the events of January 6, 2021.

In the CNN poll, 73 percent of respondents said Trump has not paid enough attention to the country’s most important problems.

In a report reviewing these polls, the website Rolling Stone wrote that Trump’s declining popularity has coincided with the economic fallout of the war with the Iranian regime and increased dissatisfaction with the performance of his administration.

The report also refers to another poll according to which 23 percent of those who voted for Trump in the 2024 election now say they regret their choice.
