Lawrence Norman, senior Wall Street Journal journalist, in response to JD Vance’s remarks about reducing Iran’s enrichment capacity, wrote: “Another notable shift in stance is evident here. Iran’s enrichment capacity is currently zero or close to zero. But Vance says that Iran could make reductions in its enrichment capacity. That would mean reconstituting some kind of enrichment capacity for producing low-enriched uranium (LEU).”
