The Republican chairman of the House of Representatives’ Foreign Affairs Committee, Brian Mast, said in remarks about Iran: “Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has destroyed the Islamic Republic’s nuclear stockpiles, navy, air force, and military capabilities.” He added: “But I know that even if the only thing left for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is throwing stones, he will still do it.” The senior U.S. lawmaker added: “The true end of this regime will come when the people of Iran follow the path that has been opened for them, rise up, and take their country back.”
