Prisoners in Unit 2 of Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj have spent the 14th day of their hunger strike in protest at the implementation of death sentences.

Reports from inside the prison say that some of the hunger strikers are suffering from severe physical weakness, low blood pressure, and reduced physical capacity.

In recent days, prisoners in Unit 2 of Qezel Hesar have published videos from inside the ward and chanted the slogan “No to execution,” calling for an end to the implementation of death sentences and a review of policies related to the death penalty.
