Pournia Debiri’s father, one of those killed in Dey 1404, published a video of himself visiting his daughter’s grave on the eve of the arrival of Mehr and the new academic year, saying: “Pournia loved studying so much. You destroyed her future. For what crime?”

Pournia Debiri, 16, a student, was killed on the evening of 19 Dey when government officers shot her in the back in Baharestan.
