👈 Ottawa City Council has begun a process to review changing the name of a street that has been named after Donald Trump for about 25 years.

According to some council members, with the intensification of trade disputes between Canada and the United States and Trump’s harsh statements against Canada, continuing to use his name for a street in the country’s capital is “embarrassing” and should be changed.

The proposal has not yet been finalized, and after going through legal steps, a decision will be made regarding the street name change
