New York Post — citing an informed source — reported that another attack by the Islamic Republic targeted a U.S. air base in Jordan.

According to the same source, the attack managed to pass through U.S. defense systems and hit a weapons depot near that air base; that weapons depot was the same location where, a few days earlier, three American servicemen had been killed as a result of an attack by the Islamic Republic.

In further reporting, the New York Post wrote that although foreign intelligence services had previously warned of the possibility of such an attack, U.S. defense systems were unable to fend it off.
