The results of new research in Iran indicate that users in this country are on the internet, on average, four hours and three minutes per day.

The finding, produced by the Iran Students’ Public Opinion Polling Center (ISPA) in the period from 25 to 31 Khordad 1405 at the request of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of this country, shows that the level of internet use or connection among Iranians is lower than the global average of about six and a half hours; an estimate that has also been reported in countries such as the United States and reaches about 10 hours a day.

According to this new study, whose results were published by the IRNA news agency on Monday, 12 Mordad, Iranians “in terms of the duration of internet use, 22.6 percent use the internet for one hour or less daily; 19 percent for between one and three hours; 24.7 percent for three to five hours; and 32.4 percent for five hours or more.” 📷Xavier Lorenzo/Getty images
