Mourad Vaisi, senior analyst at Iran International, said: “After the U.S. attack was halted, the situation in the region remains ambiguous and fragile. On the one hand, there is the possibility of an understanding forming between the United States and the Islamic Republic; on the other hand, the dispute over the status of the Strait of Hormuz has kept tensions in place.”
