Mohammadjafar Qaempanah, executive deputy of the president of the Islamic Republic, in an interview with reporters, described rising prices and economic difficulties as a “bitter reality” and said that the country’s conditions also need to be understood.

He added that, to preserve territorial integrity and “Iran’s dignity,” both the government and the people must tolerate part of the hardships. Qaempanah also said that he is pleased that the people of Iran “despite all difficulties, showed the world their resilience.”
