Mohammad Javad Akbarin, a member of Iran International’s editorial board, referring to reports about the possibility of Saudi Arabia launching a ground attack on Yemen, says signs of preparations for another round of fighting have been seen, including the redeployment of Saudi forces and developments in the Al Bayda province.

According to him, these moves could be a prelude to opening a new front against the Houthis. He also believes that the Islamic Republic, after reducing its ability to influence the Strait of Hormuz, has tried to turn the Bab al-Mandab into a new pressure lever by relying on the Houthis.
