Mohammad bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, said in a phone call with Asaad Hasan al-Shibani, the Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs, that he stressed the need for all parties to remain committed to negotiations, diplomacy, and the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of the understanding between Washington and Tehran.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the social media platform X that the country’s prime minister and foreign minister, in this conversation, emphasized ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, in order to preserve regional security, safeguarding the achievements made, and strengthening regional stability. He also announced Qatar’s full support for all efforts to reduce tensions and reach a comprehensive agreement that would lead to lasting peace in the region.

According to this report, the foreign ministers of Qatar and Syria reviewed the latest regional developments, especially diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at reducing tensions and enhancing security and stability.
