🔶 Missile and drone war; Kyiv and Moscow under fire from mutual attacks

Russia has intensified its attacks with ballistic missiles on Kyiv. Ukraine, which is facing a critical shortage of ammunition for Patriot systems, can hardly intercept these missiles. In response, Kyiv sent 600 drones toward Moscow.

Russia once again targeted Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, with ballistic missiles. Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, reported that explosions had occurred in the city in an evening message on Saturday, August 15 (24 Mordad) via the Telegram messenger.

The Kyiv mayor asked residents of the metropolis to stay in their shelters. According to him, fires have broken out in two urban areas, and firefighting forces are on the scene.

Ukraine’s air force also reported on Telegram about attacks using missiles, guided bombs, and drones on other parts of the country, including the industrial cities of Kremenchuk and Kryvyi Rih, the birthplace of Volodymyr Zelensky, president of Ukraine. According to the local governor, as a result of an attack with ballistic missiles and drones in Kryvyi Rih, a woman was killed.
