Mike Waltz, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, told Fox News: “Hamas must either hand over its weapons or the Israeli army will disarm this group by force.”

He added: “Benjamin Netanyahu is hesitant about the sequence and timing of some steps in the withdrawal from Gaza.”

Waltz said: “Hamas must be disarmed and we will not allow it to become armed again and attack Israel.”

He also said: “Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan and probably Egypt are working together to form a defense alliance in order to counter Iran.”

Waltz added: “The Houthis’ attacks in the Red Sea have brought the affected countries together, and Saudi Arabia is trying to form a coalition to deal with them.”
