Mehdi Beigi, a member of Iran International’s editorial team, referring to the written message of Majtaba Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Republic, about the prohibition of anything that would harm “social cohesion,” said that this message goes beyond a routine message for the occasion of Government Week and emphasizes controlling the narrative of problems, avoiding highlighting weaknesses, and preventing dichotomies such as “war or negotiations.”

Beigi said that in this way, the concept of “social cohesion” has been turned from a political message into a matter related to national security and a religious ruling.
