Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday, 4 Mordad, in a meeting of the Cabinet: “Some people inside still insist on imposing a narrative of defeat, and this approach is not in line with the national interests.”

He added: “How is it possible for the government to take action in the country’s major issues without coordination and permission from the Leader of the Islamic Republic?”

Pezeshkian also said: “Today, many international observers and analysts acknowledge that the United States and Israel have not achieved their goals, both on the battlefield and in the diplomatic arena.”
