Marad Vaisi, senior analyst at Iran International, said: “People’s reports from Shiraz and Tehran point to a serious shortage of gasoline and the closure of a number of fuel stations; a sign of the beginning of a nationwide crisis in the supply of gasoline. With the continuation of the Islamic Republic’s belligerent policies and its inability to import gasoline, the situation is likely to worsen in the coming days and weeks, and people will once again pay the price for it.”
