Manouchehr Mottaki, Tehran’s representative in the parliament, in a speech in a virtual session of the parliamentary floor on Sunday, addressing Gholamhosein Mohseni Ejei, Chief Justice of the judiciary, said: “The Iranian people are expecting the issuance of a death-penalty (qisas) verdict for Trump and Netanyahu within the next 10 days.”

Mottaki continued: “If a ground attack is carried out, even the bodies of American servicemen will not be delivered to their families, but our ground war—by seizing only one U.S. base in Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain—will be a crushing blow for the world’s largest army.”

This member of parliament added: “I recommend that the field, command, and initiative be taken according to the sound opinion of the Supreme Leader, and that the enemy be not allowed to maneuver.”
