🔻Majtaba Jabbari, the former head coach of Esteghlal, said about the team’s conditions: «I thought that from the time Esteghlal Club comes under the supervision of the Persian Gulf Company, special developments would happen in terms of infrastructure, facilities, and the recruitment of players at a level competing with top-tier Arab teams. But unfortunately, an unusual and unexpected path has been taken.»

🔹He also said about Esteghlal’s managerial problems: «The conditions we are in right now are truly regrettable. In my view, people have entered football who have influence, but their goal is not to help football; rather, they are looking for personal benefit and individual interests.»

🔹Jabbari also said: «It doesn’t matter how much money is injected into this system. When ways to bypass things and waste resources are well-known, that investment is easily wasted. There is no compassionate and committed approach to the work.»

🔹The former head coach of Mes Rafsanjan, regarding the team’s relegation and not showing up for the playoff match as well, said: «In the end, not participating in that match was the view of management and the club’s organization, but I personally stated my opinion that I wanted us to play. We even gathered the team and prepared it for two weeks so the match could be held. However, in the end, it was decided by the organization that the game would not take place, and there was nothing more that we could do.»
