Majid Doostali, a member of Iran’s Parliament Commission on Principle 90, told the House of ملت News Agency about the “implications of U.S. pressure on Oman” during negotiations with the Islamic Republic regarding the Strait of Hormuz, saying: “If this destructive approach continues, Iran will never reopen the Strait of Hormuz.”

Doostali said: “America is seeking to extend the policy of sovereignty over oil to the whole world so that no drop of oil moves without management and supervision by Washington.”

The representative for Kerman in the parliament said: “If this vital waterway remains closed, the devastating consequences for the energy sector and the global economy will affect the United States more than any other country; because Washington, through its pressure policies, has prevented the reopening of this route based on legal rules and an agreement between the Islamic Republic and Oman.”
