Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaivan, the spokesman of Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense, said that the country’s armed forces have identified and tracked a number of drones of the Islamic Republic in the airspace of this country as of early morning on Friday, the ninth of Mordad.

The spokesman of Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense said that these drone attacks targeted several vital and military facilities, which Kuwait’s armed forces destroyed.

According to the spokesman of Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense, as a result of shrapnel from the interception of these drones, material damage was caused, but no human casualties have been reported.

Al-Otaivan described the drone attacks as “criminal.”

He also emphasized that Kuwait’s armed forces will continue to carry out their missions with full readiness and will take all necessary measures to protect the country’s sovereignty, security, and stability, and to preserve the security of citizens and residents.
