🔻Kataib Hezbollah Says It Received a “Warning” Before U.S. and Saudi Attacks
Kataib Hezbollah, an Iran-backed paramilitary force in Iraq, says it had received a “warning” before the attacks by the United States and Saudi Arabia.
According to Al Jazeera, Kataib Hezbollah Iraq says Faleh Al-Fayadh, the commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces, had issued a warning before the joint U.S.-Saudi attack on the positions of this group last month.
A security official for the group said that Kataib Hezbollah, after receiving this warning, took preventive measures, but said the information was not complete and only included news of the attack on this group or other Iran-aligned factions.
In July, the United States and Saudi Arabia carried out attacks against Iran-backed militants in Iraq, which resulted in the deaths of at least 20 Kataib Hezbollah forces, and five members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps also died in these attacks.
