🔸 The Jordanian army said on Thursday morning, 8 Mordad, that it had repelled Iran’s missile attacks and announced that this country’s air defenses “tracked five ballistic missiles” fired at it.
🔸 Earlier, images of missile launches from the cities of Khomein, Yazd, and Tabriz had been shared on social media. These attacks were carried out hours after the release of a statement by CENTCOM, the U.S. Central Command, regarding the end of another round of its attacks on Iran.
🔸 On Wednesday as well, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had fired missiles at Jordan despite a several-day halt in U.S. attacks. U.S. military bases in Jordan have been among the main targets of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ missile and drone strikes since the start of the latest round of reciprocal attacks by the United States and Iran.
