👈 JD Vance about Israel: Netanyahu didn’t treat me confrontationally. We had a frank yet friendly conversation.

As I have said many times, Israel is a very good partner for us and one of the United States’ allies; just like France, the United Kingdom, or other American allies. It’s natural that sometimes differences of opinion arise among allies.

I think the American media has become overly fascinated by this issue. The reality is that my job is to advance the interests of no country other than the United States of America. Therefore, wherever our interests align with Israel, we discuss how to achieve our shared goals. And wherever my perspective differs from that of the Israeli prime minister, we speak about it openly and candidly.

I describe this visit as a friendly but direct dialogue. I didn’t feel like I was met in a confrontational manner.
