Israeli Prime Minister departed for Washington to meet with the U.S. president and discuss the Islamic Republic.

According to a report by The Times of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Nevatim airbase near Beersheba before the start of this trip and flew from the base to the United States.

He is scheduled to meet with Donald Trump, the U.S. president, on Tuesday, and also to attend the funeral and memorial ceremony for Lindsey Graham.

It is expected that how to deal with the threats posed by the Islamic Republic and its proxy groups will be one of the main topics of Netanyahu’s talks in the United States.

Earlier, in an interview with Fox News broadcast on Sunday, August 4, Netanyahu said that the ongoing war with the Islamic Republic will end when, among other things, the Islamic Republic collapses.

The Times of Israel wrote that Netanyahu’s flight was initially due to depart at 11:00 a.m., and Netanyahu’s office has not provided an explanation for this delay.

The outlet added that it is also unclear why Netanyahu flew from an air force base instead of departing from Ben Gurion Airport.
