The Israeli army destroyed several central sections of an underground tunnel network in the Bofour mountain range area in southern Lebanon

⭕As part of a limited operation in Lebanon’s security area, the forces of the 36th Division under the command of the Northern Command, some time ago, destroyed several main underground routes in the Bofour mountain range area.

⭕This underground network was used as a main command center, from which combat operations and fire direction were carried out against Israeli Army forces and Israeli citizens. The complex, which had been built over two decades, consisted of several levels and was considered the central headquarters of the terrorist “Badr” unit in southern Lebanon—funded and designed by the Iranian terrorist regime.

🔻This infrastructure was considered a threat to residents of northern Israel and the Israeli Army forces, because it was located about 6 kilometers from Metula and Jalil, from which dozens of drones, suicide drones, and anti-tank missiles were launched. The Israeli army destroyed a significant part of this underground tunnel network overnight.

🔻In recent weeks, the Israeli Army forces have gained full control of the Bofour mountain range area, cleared its underground infrastructure, and prepared it for destruction.

🔻Israeli Army forces continue their activity in the Ali Taher area and have maintained a high level of offensive and defensive readiness. Any incursion against our forces will be met with an appropriate response.

🔻The Israeli army remains committed to the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and continues its efforts to eliminate any threat to its forces.
