An Israeli airstrike on Sunday killed at least two Palestinians in a car in the Gaza Strip and injured 13.

Local medical personnel told Reuters that the strike occurred in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in the western part of Gaza City, and that the bodies of the two dead were torn apart by the explosion. They asked people to provide information to help identify the two individuals.

The Israel Defense Forces said the strike targeted two Hamas members and did not provide further details.

A ceasefire that ended the fighting in Gaza in October 1404 with U.S. support, but Israeli attacks have not stopped.
