Israel’s army said on Sunday that during recent attacks on southern Lebanon, Ali Mohammad Fakhraldin, known as Abu Hassan Alaa, an senior commander of the “Badr” unit of Hezbollah, was killed in the Deir al-Zahrani area.

According to a statement from the Israeli army, this Hezbollah commander in recent years had played a role in carrying out attacks against Israeli forces and in directing drone operations in southern Lebanon, and the fact that he was targeted took place in response to Hezbollah’s recent attack on Israeli forces in the buffer zone area.

The Israeli army described his death as a blow to the command structure of the “Badr” unit.

A day earlier, the Israeli army had also announced that Ali Sameer Al-Hajj Hasan, a commander of a battalion in Hezbollah’s “Radwan” unit, was killed in an attack on the Ansar area.
