Israel’s army announced that after achieving operational control in the Beaufort area and nearly 50 days of activity in this area from southern Lebanon, the forces of the Golani Brigade are ending their long-term operational activities and preparing to replenish the strength of their units.
According to a statement by the Israeli army, these forces destroyed more than 300 terrorist infrastructures in this area; an area that was used as the central base of the Hezbollah terrorist organization. They also discovered and destroyed the war equipment and stockpiles used by this organization.
A while ago, Israeli army forces identified a vast network of underground tunnels belonging to Lebanon’s Hezbollah in the Beaufort Heights area; a network that, according to the Israeli army, was built and financed with the design and funding of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
