The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energies of Kuwait reported damage from shrapnel from projectiles of the Islamic Republic to the country’s power grid.
In a statement, the ministry said that a number of overhead power transmission lines were damaged as a result of shrapnel from “criminal hostile” attacks launched at this country.
On Wednesday morning, the Islamic Republic carried out attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait. Earlier, Kuwait confirmed that it had identified and tracked two ballistic missiles and 13 hostile drones that entered Kuwait’s airspace.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity said that the damaged facilities were taken out of service, but that this did not affect the continuation of the ministry’s services.
