🔶 IRGC announced the arrest of another member of an armed team in Sistan and Baluchestan

The IRGC’s Quds Force Ground Forces Headquarters and the IRGC Intelligence Organization, “Saman Sistan and Baluchestan,” announced the arrest of another member of what they called a “terrorist team” in the south of this province.

According to a report by Tasnim, this arrest was carried out after two members of the team were killed on 15 Mordad.

Tasnim wrote that after a week of monitoring and tracking the remaining members of the team, IRGC intelligence forces arrested one more person from this group in the south of Sistan and Baluchestan on the morning of 23 Mordad.

In its report, Tasnim said that during this operation, large quantities of weapons, ammunition, explosive equipment, and communications devices were discovered.

Details about the identity of the arrested person, the exact location of the operation, or the type of weapons and equipment found were not released.

Tasnim, citing IRGC sources, claimed that the remaining members of the team intended to carry out actions against predetermined targets in the south of this province.

The outlet also claimed that the leaders of the team had connections with Israel and the United States and had received support from some Arab countries on the shores of the Persian Gulf.
