Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in continuation of his ongoing consultations and in a second telephone call within the past twenty-four hours, discussed and exchanged views with Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Arabia foreign minister, and Asim Munir, the commander of the Pakistani army, on the latest developments in efforts and diplomatic initiatives aimed at preserving and strengthening security and stability in the West Asia region.

The parties also emphasized the need to make use of the capacities of regional cooperation and political solutions along this path.
