🔸Iranian state news agency IRNA, citing Seyyed Ali Mousavi, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has rejected Tehran’s involvement in this incident.

🔸According to this report, Mousavi, in a meeting with Stephen Doughty, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom for the Middle East, “firmly rejected the allegations raised about Tehran’s role in the Fairford military base incident and asked the English side to refrain from taking any position without evidence and documents.”

🔸The incident at the Fairford base took place in the early hours of September 27, when five British men aged between 20 and 25 were arrested near the base on suspicion of terrorist and explosive-related crimes.

🔸They were later released on bail without charges being announced, and the police said they are investigating whether a foreign government played a role in the matter.

🔸Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said last week that an Iran-related threat caused American B-1 bombers to leave this base, and U.S. officials told Reuters that there was a suspicious plan involving Iran’s involvement to carry out a drone attack.
