🔻Iran’s foreign minister says that to resolve this country’s dispute with the United States, “there is no military solution and no solution based on further sanctions.”
Abbas Araghchi said: “In the past, America has lost both in war and in diplomacy. Trying new solutions of new sanctions will also be of no use to them.”
Mr. Araghchi, who was speaking in a meeting with ambassadors and chargés d’affaires of international missions based in Iran, added: “There is only one negotiated solution, based on justice and fairness, and one honorable and diplomatic solution that will be accountable and can find the final solution to end this war and this unlawful and unfair act of aggression that has been initiated against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
While referring to Iran’s readiness to deal with a new round of U.S. military attacks, the Iranian foreign minister said: “We hope that America will adopt a path of wisdom and rationality, but if they again move toward military solutions, we are more prepared than before and we will take whatever steps are necessary to defend ourselves.”
