🔶 Iran issues a warning to South Korea regarding involvement in the Strait of Hormuz

Following the publication of reports about the possibility of South Korea’s military participation in the Strait of Hormuz, a senior Iranian official warned that any Seoul involvement in missions related to the Strait of Hormuz would be considered direct military participation in the war.

According to Iranian domestic media, the senior official, in an interview with Al Mayadeen news network, warned South Korea about “yielding to Washington’s pressure to cooperate in unlawful U.S. military actions.”

The senior official urged South Korea not to “sacrifice its interests and international standing” to “aggressive policies that disrupt stability and security of the United States.” He claimed that the “main root of insecurity” in the Strait of Hormuz stems from “the aggressions” of the United States and Israel, and that South Korea should not overlook this fact.
