🔻Iran Football League Organization has announced the schedule for the first three weeks of the 26th season, while the venue for Esteghlal and Persepolis to host their opponents remains unclear.

🔹Yesterday, Iranian media reported that the managers of the Pas Stadium in Ekbatan plan to begin the full replacement of the stadium’s pitch at the same time as the start of the Persian Gulf Pro League. The club manager of Pas also said that if this plan is carried out, the stadium will not be ready to host matches in the first week of the competitions.

🔹This comes despite the fact that Esteghlal and Persepolis also, over the past two seasons, held the majority of their home matches at the Qaleh Hasan Khan Stadium and also in stadiums in Arak and Qazvin, due to the renovation of Azadi Stadium.

🔹It was also supposed that Azadi Stadium would be ready for use in the 1406–1405 season, but the renovation process has not yet been completed. Despite progress in the renovation of the stands and some other parts of the stadium, the Azadi pitch has been removed in recent weeks so that new turf can replace it. Fars has reported that the stadium will most likely not be made available to the teams until mid-season.
