🔻Mohammad Akraminia, Iran’s army spokesman, said that since Iran’s strategy in this period of war has been “retaliatory,” after the United States stopped its attacks over the past two nights, “we also stopped our operations.”
He, in response to whether this means “the United States has again imposed a unilateral ceasefire,” said, “America is undergoing a process of wear and tear in strategic decision-making. It does not have a clear strategy. This is seen in the decisions of the president and the actions of CENTCOM.”
He said that Iran’s military operations during the fourteen to fifteen days of the recent clashes had specific characteristics, including focusing attacks on “their radar facilities and support centers” in order to dissuade the United States from continuing its attacks.
According to him, Iran attempted in this period to “bring the United States to the front line” so that it would comply with the contents of the memorandum of understanding between the two countries.
