An Ipsos BVA–SZY poll found that 15% of French people have a positive view of Emmanuel Macron, the president of France. This is the lowest figure since the start of his presidency in 2017.

The poll was conducted at the request of the newspaper “La Tribune Dimanche”.

According to Ipsos, the main concern among respondents was purchasing power. The situation of the welfare system and France’s national debt also ranked among the top concerns.

Fuel prices in France have reached their highest level, and high school students have held protests.

In the same poll, Jordan Bardella with 33% and Marine Le Pen with 32% remained the most popular figures to succeed Macron. However, over the course of a month, they also lost 4 and 3 percentage points of their popularity, respectively.
