Information received by Iran International indicates that during the national revolution of Iranians, a longtime IRGC commander who previously carried out the suppression and crackdown on opponents of the Bashar al-Assad government in Syria has been in charge of the leaders of the crackdown in Shahriar. In these crackdowns, proxy forces were also present in some cities in Tehran Province.
