🔻The Embassy of India in Riyadh announced that the health condition of Captain Sammir Machchar—the Indian pilot who was attacked during a Fly Dubai flight—is being closely monitored.

According to the Indian embassy, after the flight was rerouted and it landed in the city of Tabuk, Machchar was taken to a hospital and is now “receiving the necessary medical care.”

The Indian embassy said that complete information about his physical condition is not yet available, but preliminary reports indicate that his condition is stable.

The embassy added: “We hope he recovers from his injuries as soon as possible,” and said it is in contact with Machchar’s family.

Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump have called Machchar a “hero.”
