🔶 In Israel’s night attacks on Gaza, “eight people” were killed
The French news agency, citing Palestinian officials, reported on Sunday, 11 Mordad (August 2), that in Israel’s night attacks on several residential buildings in Gaza, at least eight people were killed.
Officials of “Civil Defense in Gaza,” an aid and emergency organization, also said that in Israel’s attacks on several residential buildings that took place around midnight, eight people were killed.
The attacks came as Hamas had announced its approval of the latest stage of a plan to end the war.
On Friday, July 31, Hamas said it had agreed to a plan backed by Donald Trump, the president of the United States. The plan includes “the handover of Hamas weapons and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.”
Israel has not yet officially commented on the deal, but a political official told the French news agency that no withdrawal would take place until Hamas “is genuinely disarmed.”
