The human rights organization Hengaw reported that the Kurdish Komala Party camp in Zargwezela, in Iraqi Kurdistan’s Kurdistan region, was targeted by a drone attack in the early hours of Wednesday.

Iranian media have also reported fresh attacks on the positions of Kurdish groups opposed to the Islamic Republic in Iraqi territory. No information about casualties has been released.

Zargwezela in Sulaimani Province has been targeted several times this year.

Three drones at dawn on Monday hit a location belonging to Komala in the same area. Two other drones crashed in Sulaimani and Halabja, and the sound of explosions was heard in parts of the two provinces.
