The human rights group Havash reported through the release of a video that a patrol unit consisting of three military vehicles was targeted by an armed attack on the route between Bampor and Iranshahr.

Islamic Republic media confirmed the deaths of two police officers in the attack by armed individuals on a law-enforcement patrol in Bampor County in Sistan and Baluchestan province.

According to Havash, one vehicle was hit directly by gunfire, another vehicle overturned, and the third vehicle left the scene.
