The HRANA website reported that an interrogation hearing for Colonel Shahrazad Zamiri, from former FARAJA personnel and among those detained during the December 1404 protests, was held on Monday, 12 Mordad, with five charges, including “disclosure of state secrets” and “operational action,” at the military prosecutor’s office in Mashhad.

According to this report, Zamiri had worked in the FARAJA with the rank of colonel prior to his arrest during the national revolution in December, and after his arrest he was dismissed from his job and is now being held in Vakilabad Prison’s ward of “Aramesh” in Mashhad.

Iran International had previously reported, citing its own sources, that he was the social deputy of the FATA Police in Razavi Khorasan. HRANA has also described him as the security police deputy of FARAJA and working in the technology and computer-related division of the institution.

Based on information received by Iran International, Zamiri was summoned to FARAJA and then arrested a few days after the protests. He was kept in solitary confinement for about two months, was not given access to a lawyer, and his assets were also confiscated. Informed sources said that his charges were linked to his presence at the protests and his help to protesters.
