Yahya Saree, 22 Mehr, said in a statement that ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones were used in the attack, and that the targets were “accurately” hit.
The Saudi Ministry of Energy announced on 21 Mehr that an Aramco administrative building in the Eastern Province was targeted and a limited fire occurred, with no deaths or injuries.
On 22 Mehr, Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense Authority said that two Houthi cruise missiles were intercepted and destroyed over Riyadh and that shrapnel fell in the city. Four people—two women, one man, and a child—were injured, and 15 houses sustained limited damage.
Turki Al-Maliki, the spokesman for the coalition led by Saudi Arabia, also reported the destruction of a cruise missile in the south of Riyadh. This was the eighth statement from the same coalition regarding intercepts within a single day.
King Khalid International Airport has been closed since last week and, according to an aviation notice, will not reopen until 25 Mehr.
