Hossein Alizadeh, an international affairs analyst, said that if the scope of conflict between Iran and Ukraine expands, it will no longer be possible to speak of a regional war; rather, we will be facing an interregional war that will involve both the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
He added that such a situation would be detrimental for Tehran, but entirely in Russia’s favor, because Moscow wants another country to join it in the conflict against Ukraine and for the scope of the war to expand.
