Hossein-Ali Hajj-Deligani, First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament’s Article 90 Commission, told the Iran Watch website: “We are in the process of compiling and collecting documents for the impeachment of Abbas Araqchi so that we can launch it in a timely manner.”
This member of parliament added: “Experience has shown that using the word ‘negotiation’ is the code for an attack and the start of renewed war.”
He continued: “Any agreement or document that violates the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic, or cedes even a centimeter of Iran’s waters to another party, is against the Constitution, and we will not back down on this.”
Hajj-Deligani added that there is no trust in the United States, and that negotiation in conditions of neither war nor peace and ceasefire is not right. He emphasized: “Negotiation is useful only when, while missiles are being fired at the enemy, we announce our demands.”
