«Hosein Taj», a lawyer, said that he has been informed of a total seven-year prison sentence for his brother «Ahmed Taj» by Branch 36 of the Court of Appeals.

He said that the ruling was issued without regard to the lawyers’ objections and defenses.

On 21 Dey 1404, during the nationwide protests in Dey and while returning to his home in Tehran, Ahmed Taj was arrested and, after 10 days of detention in a detention center of one of the security institutions, was transferred to Tehran’s Greater Prison.

The charge against him is “assembly and conspiracy.”
