🔶 Hezbollah in Lebanon Threatened Israel With a “Proper Response”

According to the French news agency, the terrorist group Hezbollah said that Israel’s recent attacks in Lebanon would be met with a “proper response.”

In a statement, the group called the talks between the Lebanese government and Israel “humiliating” and urged the government to stop them.

Hezbollah said in the statement: “Israel must clearly understand that its attacks, violations, and attempts to impose a fait accompli cannot continue and will be met with a proper response.”

The Hezbollah group also criticized Lebanese officials for continuing direct talks with Israel, saying the Lebanese government should not insist on continuing the “humiliating path of direct negotiations” and, as the group put it, “giving free concessions to the enemy.”

In an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon in the early hours of Saturday, 24 Mordad (15 August), seven people were killed. The attack is considered one of the deadliest since the “fragile ceasefire” between Israel and Hezbollah was established on June 20 this year.
