Hamidreza Davoodandi, a seminary lecturer, said at one of the night gatherings in Qom: “We cannot stand up to the enemy with immodesty and lack of chastity, and one of the dangers that threatens our society in the end times is distancing from modesty and chastity.”

Davoodandi continued: “If indecency and lawlessness spread in a society among its youth, gradually faith will disappear, and the young people of that society will no longer be youth who are resilient in the face of the enemy. The enemy is trying to spread indecency and lawlessness in society.”

He added: “Just as the verses related to hijab and covering were revealed during the Battle of the Trench, today too we must emphasize this point that officials of the Islamic Republic system should have concerns about hijab, chastity, and covering in society.”

This Qom seminary lecturer added: “If today we see that some people have risen up against the enemy and humiliated it, and women have also resisted and stood firm against treacherous enemies, an important part of this resistance is rooted in their chastity, covering, and hijab.”
